Pamela & Lainey

Pamela and Lainey are sisters who grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pamela is the owner and curator at Studio North Academy of the Performing Arts in Wilmette, IL where she and her talented staff teach for the "Triple Threat" (Dance, Music, Acting) ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, voice, acting and piano. She's been vegetarian since she was a teenager and has continuously developed her repertoire of international dishes. Her recipes are primarily vegan with very little preprepared ingredients. She learns recipes from many of her favorite chefs -- from Chicago to Tucson.

Lainey is a scientist and a student of philosophy and world religions. Professionally, she works in the fields of energy generation, policy and development. She is a LEED™ Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council and a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher. Her cooking is highly influenced by Indian, South American and Mediterranean cuisines. Although many of her recipes are vegetarian, most savory recipes offer ideas for incorporating meat or fish.
